By Allen Kansiime

Businessman and philanthropist Dr Sudhir Ruparelia on Saturday joined pupils, teachers and parents at Kampala Parents’ School (KPS) for the school’s Cultural Day celebrations.

The colourful event, held as the school closed for the second term, provided an opportunity for pupils to showcase and celebrate Uganda’s diverse cultures and heritage.

Pupils proudly presented different cultural traditions, highlighting the importance of preserving and appreciating the country’s rich cultural diversity from an early age.

The celebrations also gave the school community an opportunity to reflect on the role of education in nurturing children who appreciate their heritage while embracing diversity.

Kampala Parents’ School commended the pupils, parents and staff for making the Cultural Day a success, noting that such activities help children understand and take pride in their cultural heritage.

The school said it remains committed to creating an environment where pupils can learn, grow and celebrate the diversity that makes Uganda unique.
