The embassy of Rwanda in Uganda has intervened in the matter regarding musician Douglas Mayanja aka Weasel brutally battering his Rwandan baby mama Sandra Teta.
Weasel is currently in hiding after he learnt that the police are hunting him down to face charges ranging from Domestic Violence, causing grievous bodily harm to attempted murder.
According to police spokesperson SCP Fred Enanga, Weasel’s case file has since been transferred to the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) after the Rwandan embassy in Uganda decided to take up the matter as the complainant.
Enanga revealed during a press conference on Thursday afternoon that the Rwandan embassy took over the matter as complainant following a request from Teta’s parents who traveled to Uganda a few days ago.

The police mouthpiece also revealed that the police are hunting for one of Weasel’s brothers, who according to our Moles in Jose Chameleone, who is said to be keeping Teta at his home against her will.
“We have got information that one of Weasel’s brothers is keeping Sandra against her will. He only takes her to get treatment and after that, he returns her to his home,” Enanga said.
He added that; “The police have already identified the person and house where he is keeping her and we are going to get him any time.”
Meanwhile, the police have since advised Weasel to come out from wherever he is hiding such that he can record a statement short of which the long arm of the law shall catch up with him.
He also advised his brother who is keeping Teta against her will to release her such that she can be taken by her parents to get treatment or else he will also be arrested.
